1 || RELAX ROYAL MONSOUR SPA

The hammam ceremony is based on the purification and beauty rituals of former times. To create the hammam treatments, the Royal Mansour Marrakesh Spa traced the history of thermal baths and uncovered the beauty secrets of the Moroccan women who bear the traditions of this thousand-year-old art. Natural ingredients from royal farmlands are meticulously selected and used. A hamman is a profound experience.


2 || BREAKFAST AT BACHA COFFEE

10:30 o’clock in the morning

How does a coffee with the aromas of sweet cinnamon bark and green almonds with notes of juicy plum and wild cherry complement sound? Originally opened in 1910, after a sixty-year hiatus, it’s now the top-rated coffeehouse in Marrakesh. It is tucked elegantly into a corner of the Dar El Bacha Museum, which is also well worth a visit!


3 || DISCOVER MOROCCAN FASHION

Artsi Ifrach and his label are entirely devoted to taking things slow. His statement studio in Marrakech is where you can admire the quality of his couture pieces which are handcrafted, one-of-a-kind pieces made of vintage fabrics, family heirlooms, and materials sourced from flea markets around the globe. His iconic brand embodies his extensive appreciation of multiculturalism and mixes it all up in a unique and extraordinary manner


4 || LUNCH AT LA FAMILLE

La Famille restaurant is the ideal place to have lunch in the shade of the lemon trees. Their menu changes every day is ultra-fresh features homemade sesame seed and zaatar crackers, fruits and vegetables from the market, and lots of fresh herbs. Save room for the homemade desserts: chocolate and peanut butter fondant, tiramisu with orange blossom and pistachios, and soft cakes with argan flavors. The boutique offers a pretty selection of decorative accessories.


5 || GET TATTOOED AT HENNA LOUAYA

2:30 o’clock in the afternoon

At Henna Louaya the artists use organic henna for their temporary tattoos, the Tanzarine henna. They create the “dough” of henna so that the composition is fully controlled. After you select your design – as intricate or simple as you like, you can enjoy a traditional Moroccan mint tea or French espresso while the artists work their magic.


6 || SEE MODERN MOROCCAN TILE

Founded in 2007 by Americans Caitlin and Samuel Dowe-Sandes, Popham Design is a design studio and bespoke tile workshop. They aspire to celebrate and maintain a traditional artisan craft while updating it with modern patterns and color combinations. The company designs and manufactures handmade concrete tiles that are exported throughout the world.


7 || STROLL THROUGH MAJORELLE GARDENS

6:00 o’clock in the evening

This infamous botanical garden and artist’s landscape garden are in the heart of the city. Created by the French artist Jacques Majorelle over almost forty years, starting in 1923, the garden also features a classic Cubist villa. Yves Saint Laurent and his partner restored the garden over many years beginning in the 1980s.


8 || IMMERSE IN ART AT THE YSL MUSEUM

7:30 o’clock in the evening

Opened in 2017, this museum is entirely devoted to the work of the legendary fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent. YSL live in Marrakech for many decades and found inspiration in Morocco in his colors and the forms of his clothing.
